About Music Festival in Saint-Priest

On the occasion of the Music Festival, Saint-Priest (Rhône) sets up a large musical stage in the heart of the Village, Place Bruno Polga. Organized by the City Music and Theater Conservatory, the evening brings together students, teachers, and ensembles for free in all styles, from contemporary music to percussion, before a grand pop concert to close the event.

The Fête de la Musique 2026 in Saint-Priest will take place on Saturday, June 20th, starting at 5 PM, at Place Bruno Polga, free of charge. The city's Conservatory brings together about ten orchestras and ensembles of students and teachers, before a pop concert by the amplified orchestra RAGTAG.

The main stage at Place Bruno Polga will unfold in two parts:

Place Bruno Polga — from 5 PM: Conservatory students and ensembles

About ten orchestras and ensembles from the Saint-Priest Conservatory of Music and Theatre will perform successively on stage: batucada, percussion, brass, and contemporary music formations, presented by the city's students and teachers.

Place Bruno Polga — 8:30 PM: amplified orchestra RAGTAG

To close the evening, the amplified orchestra RAGTAG will take the stage with a repertoire of international pop music.

The Music Festival in Saint-Priest

Like everywhere in France since 1982, the Music Festival transforms Saint-Priest into an open-air stage. In the heart of the Village, on Place Bruno Polga, the City Music and Theater Conservatory orchestrates a large free evening open to all, which highlights the musical practice of Saint-Priest in all its diversity.

A large stage in the heart of the Village

Place Bruno Polga successively welcomes the students and teachers of the Conservatory within a dozen orchestras and ensembles: batucada, percussion, brass instruments, and contemporary music formations take turns on stage. The evening continues with a concert by the amplified orchestra RAGTAG, featuring a repertoire of international pop.

Folk, rock, pop, funk, hip-hop, brass band, or orchestral music: the Music Festival remains true to its original spirit, music for all and by all, in a friendly atmosphere and with free access.
