Music Festival in Toulon — edition 2026
The 2026 Fête de la Musique in Toulon takes place on Sunday, June 21st, featuring 33 free stages and nearly a hundred bands spread across the historic city center and the Mourillon district. Concerts kick off at 6:00 PM and wrap up at midnight in the city center, which will be closed to traffic, while the party continues until 2:00 AM in Mourillon.
Two main zones, 33 stages, one night
Organized by the City of Toulon and the local association NO/ID under the banner "La Fête c’est Nous," the Fête de la Musique takes over two areas on Sunday, June 21st, 2026: the historic city center, which is entirely pedestrianized for the occasion, and Mourillon, where the festivities run until 2:00 AM. Twenty-five sound points are set up in the city center and eight in Mourillon, each with its own musical vibe.
A deliberately eclectic program
Every square has its own identity: choirs and orchestras at Place Camille Ledeau, traditional world music at the cathedral, salsa and Latin dance at Carré du Port, rock and new wave at Place de la Poissonnerie, rap and trap at Place Hubac, reggae-dub at Place Monsenergue, Malagasy music on Rue du Murier, classical trios on Rue du Pomet, hardtechno at Place Gustave Lambert, and house and afro house on Rue Émile Zola, Rue Auffan, or Rue Montauban. Over 30,000 people are expected across all stages.
Free entry everywhere
All stages are outdoors and free to attend, with no tickets or reservations required. Two secure fan zones will be set up, including one in Mourillon between Boulevard Bazeilles and the top of Rue Lamalgue.

Practical Information
- When: Sunday, June 21, 2026. Concerts run from 6:00 PM to midnight in the city center and until 2:00 AM in Le Mourillon (the first stage starts at 4:00 PM at Place Émile Claude).
- Where: 33 open-air stages, 25 in the historic center of Toulon and 8 in Le Mourillon.
- Price: Free admission to all stages, no tickets or reservations required.
- Traffic: The historic center is completely closed to car traffic during the evening; it is best to park on the outskirts of the area.
- Security: Two secure fan zones are provided, one in the city center and the other in Le Mourillon, between Boulevard Bazeilles and the upper part of Rue Lamalgue.

Fête de la Musique in Toulon
Just like everywhere else in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique turns Toulon into a massive open-air stage every June 21st. As the largest free musical event in the Var region, it brings together amateur and professional artists, associations, bands, and institutions, all taking over public spaces from late afternoon until deep into the night. The event is hosted by the City of Toulon and the local association NO/ID, under the name "La Fête c’est Nous."
From the historic center to Le Mourillon
The festivities unfold across 33 sound points: twenty-five in the historic center—including Place Puget, Raspail, Hubac, Vatel, de l’Équerre, de la Poissonnerie, Gustave Lambert, Dame Sibille, Camille Auban, Camille Ledeau, du Globe, des Savonnières, Baboulène, Monsenergue, Louis Blanc, de l’Opéra, de la Bouillotte, Carré du Port, the cathedral, and the streets of Baudin, Charles Poncy, Émile Zola, Hyppolyte Duprat, du Murier, and du Pomet—and eight in Le Mourillon, centered around the streets of Auffan, Lamalgue, Montauban, and Pascal, Boulevard Docteur Cuneo, and the squares of Émile Claude, Dupuy de Lôme, and Monseigneur Deydier.
Each stage has its own vibe: choirs and orchestras, classical repertoire, traditional world music, salsa, rock and new wave, rap and trap, reggae-dub, Malagasy music, pop, house, afro house, techno, and hard techno. The historic center is closed to car traffic for the evening, and two secure fan zones are set up. Over 30,000 people are expected to attend.
