The Fête de la Musique in Tournefeuille
As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms Tournefeuille's city center into an open-air stage every June 21. Several stages in the heart of the city
The program is divided between the Mairie Stage, L'Escale's outdoor stage on Place Roger Panouse, the ensembles from the School of Music (R. Pailhé hall), the church, the Utopia cinema, as well as a youth stage. The Vespa Cougourdon Orchestra, an organic brass band of carnival trance, wanders between the venues. Genres coexist without hierarchy: world, electro, funk, rock, pop, Latin music, hip-hop, soul, traditional music, and jazz. Food trucks complete the evening.
