About Music Festival in Vichy
Every June 21, Vichy celebrates the Fête de la Musique: amateur musicians, local groups, and professional artists play for free in the streets, squares, and parks of the queen of spa towns. Organized by the City of Vichy, the day is entirely free and open to all, from the first day of summer until late into the night.
The Fête de la Musique in Vichy
As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the city of Vichy into an open-air stage every June 21. Music freely takes over public spaces, from late afternoon until the heart of the night, in all genres and for all audiences.
A celebration in the heart of the spa town
Usually, the festival unfolds in Vichy's emblematic locations: a concert is given at the Source de l'Hôpital kiosk, while open stages are set up in local living areas, concerts multiply in the streets, and dance demonstrations liven up the evening. Bars, terraces, and associations complete the entertainment throughout the city center.
