About Music Festival in Vierzon
Every June 21, Vierzon celebrates the Fête de la Musique (Music Festival): DJs, rock bands, singers, folk dances, and choirs freely animate the squares, streets, and terraces of the city center. Supported by the City of Vierzon and numerous partner cafes and businesses, the day is entirely free and blends all styles, from grunge to chanson, from island music to classical.
The Fête de la Musique in Vierzon
As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the city of Vierzon into an open-air stage every June 21. From early afternoon until the heart of the night, music freely takes over public spaces: squares, pedestrian streets, cafe terraces, and gardens welcome amateurs and confirmed artists, in all genres and for all audiences.
A festival throughout the city center
For the 2026 edition, the festival unfolds in Vierzon's hyper-center: from Rue du Maréchal Joffre to Avenue de la République, from Place François-Mitterrand to Place Aristide-Briand, passing through the esplanade « La Française », the Jardin de l'Abbaye, and Place du Maréchal-Foch. The city center's bars and restaurants extend the celebration onto their terraces, while the Conservatory offers a folk dance and a women's choir.
Genres coexist without hierarchy: island music, electro and DJ sets, chanson, grunge and rock, latino, folk dance, and classical choral singing.

The Fête de la Musique 2026 in Vierzon will take place on Sunday, June 21, free of charge throughout the city center. About ten stages and terraces, supported by the City and partner cafés, will host DJs, rock bands, singers, folk dances, and choirs, from early afternoon until evening.

DJ set with Donii Jil & DJ Engze.
Place Jacques-Brel — Conservatoire, from 6 PM
Folk dance open to all.
Rue Armand Brunet — L'Estoril, from 6:30 PM
Latin-themed evening.
Place François-Mitterrand — Radio Tintouin, from 7 PM
Concert by Lexiane (song), followed by Radio Tintouin DJs.
Place Aristide-Briand — Pub Au Bureau, from 7 PM
Euphoria (grunge / rock).
Esplanade « La Française » — Enjoy Bowling, from 7 PM
DJ Damien RK.
Rue de la Gaucherie — Café Ô Berry, from 7 PM
Julien Honnorat with « The Cure Alone Tribute ». The café also hosts the band Les Barons (rock inspired by 1960s classics) in the afternoon.
Jardin de l'Abbaye — Conservatoire, 8 PM-8:30 PM
Women's choir from the Conservatoire (classical vocal repertoire).
Place du Maréchal-Foch — La Lune, from 8 PM
Concert by El Bornes.
Other terraces, bars, and associative initiatives complete this program in the city center.
