A Magical Night in the Heart of the Prieuré District

Every first Saturday of August, the Nuit du Livre transforms the medieval alleys of the Prieuré district into a vast open-air literary fair. Booksellers from La Charité, joined by second-hand booksellers from all over France, set up their stalls in the illuminated lanes, creating an enchanting and intimate atmosphere perfect for strolling, browsing, discovering, and exchanging.

Readings, Shows, and Music

The Nuit du Livre is not just about selling books.
