Four evenings of concerts in the Jardins Suspendus du Havre
Nuits Suspendues is a music festival organized by the City of Le Havre in the Jardins Suspendus, a former military fort converted into a botanical garden on the heights of the city. Every year in July, over four evenings, the festival offers an eclectic program mixing rock, folk, jazz, cumbia, and world music in an exceptional setting in the heart of nature. Heir to the MoZ'aïque festival after thirteen editions, Nuits Suspendues continues the tradition of a popular and accessible summer music event.
The Nuits Suspendues take place in one of Le Havre's most remarkable sites: the Jardins Suspendus. This former 19th-century military fort, perched on the cliffs overlooking the Seine estuary, has been transformed into a magnificent botanical garden housing plant collections from around the world. Every summer in July, this exceptional place transforms into an open-air concert stage, offering festival-goers a unique musical experience between cliffs, tropical greenhouses, and flowerbeds, with the spectacular panorama of the Seine bay as a backdrop.
Nuits Suspendues was born from the transformation of the MoZ'aïque festival, which had enlivened the Jardins Suspendus for thirteen editions. This new format perpetuates the spirit of its predecessor while renewing its identity. The festival offers four evenings of concerts in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, far from the hustle and bustle of large urban festivals. Festival-goers can relax on the lawns of the gardens to enjoy the music in a preserved natural setting.
The program of Nuits Suspendues reflects the openness and diversity that characterize Le Havre, a port city open to the world. Rock, folk, jazz, cumbia, bossa nova, funk, and classical music follow one another on the garden stage, offering a musical journey across continents. Artists such as Little Bob, a legend of Le Havre rock, Brooklyn Funk Essentials, Kumbia Boruka, Les Scamps, and Féfé have marked recent editions, illustrating this deliberate diversity.
Organized by the City of Le Havre, Nuits Suspendues aims to be an event accessible to all. Prices are deliberately kept low, with a day pass at 15 euros and a four-day pass at 45 euros, and reduced rates for young people and job seekers. This pricing policy, combined with the enchanting setting of the Jardins Suspendus, makes Nuits Suspendues an unmissable summer event for locals and visitors to Normandy.
Nuits Suspendues 2026 will take place from July 16 to 19, 2026, at the Jardins Suspendus du Havre. Lineup to be announced, with rock, folk, jazz, cumbia, and classical music on the program.
