Created in 2025 by the Departmental Council of Orne, Orn'Estival is a major summer musical event held at the Equestrian Sports Center of the Haras national du Pin, a heritage site nicknamed the "Versailles of horses". This exceptional setting, in the heart of the Norman countryside, provides an ideal backdrop for welcoming thousands of spectators for a grand evening of open-air concerts.
The first edition of Orn'Estival, on August 23, 2025, made a mark by welcoming nearly 9,000 spectators for a free concert by Kendji Girac. The evening was preceded by a choral performance from 5 PM to 6:45 PM, followed by an opening concert by the Celtic group Julien Loko Irish Band before the headliner. The event concluded with fireworks at 11 PM, offering a spectacular finale in the Orne night.
Orn'Estival is part of the department's commitment to offering a cultural and festive event accessible to all. On-site catering allows families and groups of friends to spend a full day in a green setting, enjoying shows and conviviality. Free access upon registration ensures broad public access.
The Haras national du Pin, founded in 1715, spans 1,100 hectares of meadows and forests in the heart of Orne.
