Children under 7 years old get free admission upon presentation of a mandatory free ticket to be reserved online.
What you need to bring
Each guest brings their own picnic basket, white tablecloth, cutlery (wood or bamboo only, no metal), glasses, and white crockery. Open-flame candles are prohibited; only LED candles are allowed. Tables, chairs, and strong alcoholic beverages of category 4 (vodka, tequila, whiskey, gin, rum) are strictly forbidden. Animals are not allowed, with the exception of guide dogs.

Getting there and transport
By car: Chantilly is accessible via the A1 motorway (take the Senlis exit, then the D1016 towards Chantilly) from Paris (approx. 45 mins). The estate car park is free on the evening of the Pique-nique en Blanc, subject to availability. Due to high demand, we recommend arriving early.
Site entrances: Ticket holders can access the English garden via the grille de l'Abreuvoir. The Jeu de Paume gate, opposite the Grandes Écuries, is reserved for invitations and VIPs.
By train: Chantilly-Gouvieux station is served by TER Hauts-de-France and Transilien trains from Paris-Nord (approx. 25 mins, frequent service). The château is a 15-minute walk from the station via a pleasant path. For your return journey late in the evening, please check the last train times (the event ends at 12:30 am).
Carpooling: The organisers encourage carpooling. Dedicated carpooling platforms may offer routes specifically for the event.

Naked flame candles are prohibited: only LED candles are accepted.
What is prohibited
Tables and chairs, spirits, naked flames, and animals (with the exception of guide dogs). Swimming in the estate's moats is also strictly prohibited.
Food trucks and drinks
If you do not wish to bring your own meal, savoury and sweet food trucks as well as drink stands will be available on site. A champagne bar and a cocktail bar complete the offering, with a vinyl DJ set throughout the evening.
Weather postponement
In the event of adverse weather conditions or force majeure, the management reserves the right to postpone the event to a pre-arranged backup date announced on the official ticketing site. Tickets remain valid for the rescheduled date and no refunds will be granted.
