Festive Friday evenings in Saint-Pol-sur-Ternoise
For several years, Polofolies has set the rhythm for Friday evenings in Saint-Pol-sur-Ternoise during the summer. This weekly event, supported by the municipality, transforms the Square de Warstein into a place of celebration and meeting for all the inhabitants of the Ternois region and surrounding towns.
Each Friday, Polofolies offers a different program: concerts of various music genres, circus performances with the Cirqu'en Cavale company, street theater shows, dance animations, and tribute bands. The diversity of offerings appeals to a wide audience and keeps interest high throughout the summer season.
Polofolies places great importance on the younger audience. The ATRE association and the Cirqu'en Cavale company lead circus, juggling, and creative arts workshops for children in the early evening. These participatory workshops allow children to discover artistic disciplines while having fun, before enjoying the main show of the evening.
In addition to the shows, a small market of local producers is set up in the park for each edition. Visitors can taste and buy local products from Artois: cheeses, cured meats, craft beers, honey, and other regional specialties. This market enhances the friendly and gourmet aspect of the event.
Beyond the artistic program, Polofolies is above all a moment for meeting. The stated goal is to allow residents to gather in a relaxed atmosphere, build social connections, and share a pleasant moment with family or friends. The Square de Warstein, with its green spaces and peaceful ambiance, is perfectly suited for this summer gathering.
A charming small town in the heart of the Ternois region, Saint-Pol-sur-Ternoise is the capital of a hilly and green rural area between Artois and Ternois. Polofolies contributes to the animation of this dynamic town and its summer appeal, complementing a rich heritage and natural offerings: the former chapel of the Black Sisters, gardens, and hiking trails of the Ternois.
The Polofolies return in summer 2026 to Saint-Pol-sur-Ternoise for twelve festive Fridays, from June 12 to August 28, 2026. Every Friday, Parc Warstein comes alive from 5:00 PM with workshops by Cirqu'en Cavale and the ATRE association for children, then from 7:00 PM, it's showtime: pop-rock concerts, French chanson, circus, dance, reggae, and mash-ups. Free access for everyone.
The 2026 edition of Polofolies offers a weekly event every Friday between June 12 and August 28, 2026, totaling twelve evenings in the heart of Parc Warstein. The rhythm remains the same as previous editions: workshops for children from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM led by instructors from Cirqu'en Cavale and the ATRE association, followed by shows starting at 7:00 PM.
The 2026 program mixes French chanson (La Goualante, Manon Faska), pop-rock (Vertigo, Vinyl 9), roots reggae (Vibration Reggae), festive mash-ups (Authotune), circus shows (Les Petites Douceurs, Lo Siento, Prudence) and several performances by local dance schools (Academy Ballet, Ballerin'Attitude). The evening of June 19 is a special Fête de la Musique (Music Festival) event, with Musique de Saint Pol and the music school performing as the opening act.
Access to Polofolies remains completely free. A small market of local producers accompanies each evening, allowing visitors to taste the specialties of the Ternois region before or after the shows. In case of bad weather, some shows may be moved indoors — please inquire at the town hall.
