The contemporary music festival of Treize-Vents in Vendée
Pulsa Son is a contemporary music festival organized in Treize-Vents, in the heart of the Vendée bocage. Born in 2015 from the collaboration between the association Les Points de Départ and the Foyer des Jeunes of the commune, this musical event brings together several bands with varied styles each year for eclectic and accessible concerts for everyone. In the Treize-Vents sports hall, the festival cultivates conviviality, musical discovery, and associative spirit, with very affordable prices that make it an event open to the greatest number.
Pulsa Son was born in April 2015 from the common desire of two associations in Treize-Vents: Les Points de Départ, whose mission is the promotion and development of music, and the Foyer des Jeunes of the commune. Their ambition: to create a unifying musical event in the heart of the Vendée bocage, capable of bringing together a large audience around accessible and generous concerts.
Pulsa Son's philosophy is based on eclecticism and openness. Each edition features several bands with varied styles — rock, contemporary music, pop, folk — with the stated goal of offering an all-ages concert where everyone can find their musical pleasure. This diversity of styles is a signature of the festival, which refuses to be confined to a single genre in order to better surprise and unite.
Entirely run by passionate volunteers, Pulsa Son embodies the associative spirit of the Vendée bocage. The festival relies on the local fabric — shopkeepers, families, young people from the youth center — to build a warm and authentic event. The involvement of the Foyer des Jeunes of Treize-Vents anchors the festival in an educational and intergenerational approach, where live music becomes a vector for social connection and cultural discovery.
Pulsa Son's concerts take place in the Treize-Vents sports hall, transformed for the occasion into a performance venue. This location allows the public to be welcomed in good acoustic and logistical conditions, regardless of the weather. The intimacy of the venue fosters proximity between artists and the audience, creating a warm atmosphere conducive to exchange and discovery.
True to its associative values, Pulsa Son offers very affordable prices — only a few euros — allowing the greatest number of people to enjoy quality concerts. This price accessibility is a deliberate choice by the organizers, who wish to make live music a shared pleasure, without financial barriers.
