Since 2012, Rastaf'Entray has brought together lovers of reggae, dub, ska, afrobeat, and world music sounds every year in Entraygues-sur-Truyère, a picturesque village nestled at the confluence of the Lot and the Truyère. Supported by the association JME (Jeunesse Motivée d'Entraygues-sur-Truyère), this human-sized festival has become a must-attend event for fans of Jamaican music and sound system cultures.
Rastaf'Entray unfolds over two days with an eclectic program mixing roots reggae, dub, ska, afrobeat, tropical electro-pop, and natural trance. The evening concerts take place inside the salle multiculturelle in Entraygues, protected from bad weather, guaranteeing risk-free evenings. In the afternoon and evening, a sound system livens up the outdoor esplanade, offering a relaxed and friendly atmosphere by the river.
On Saturday afternoon, the free OFF festival offers various activities, associative and craft stalls, as well as the opportunity to enjoy swimming in the cool waters of the Truyère. The spirit of Rastaf'Entray is based on the voluntary commitment of motivated youth, keen to boost the cultural life of their rural territory. Free camping is available for festival-goers to extend the experience over two days.
Over the years, Rastaf'Entray has hosted renowned artists from the reggae and world scene, such as Vaudou Game, Weeding Dub, Sidi Wacho, Balaphonik, Youthie, and Luiza. The programming ranges from international headliners to new discoveries, in an exceptional natural setting that makes this Aveyron festival unique.
