A rock festival with a big heart

Rockfest 1 Max de Bruit is more than just a rock festival: it's a charity event that places solidarity at the center of its approach. Organized by the association 1 Max de Bruit, the festival donates all its profits to associations working for sick children or those in vulnerable situations, notably the association "Les Petits Invincibles" which supports children victims of violence.

The Théâtre de Verdure, Nice's rock temple

The festival takes place at the Théâtre de Verdure in Nice, located in the Jardin Albert 1er facing the Promenade des Anglais. This exceptional setting, usually associated with pop or jazz concerts, transforms for a weekend into a true rock temple. The open-air stage, with a capacity of about 3,200 seats, offers remarkable acoustics and an electric atmosphere.

A powerful lineup

Each edition of Rockfest offers a dense lineup with about fifteen bands spread over three days. The festival showcases tribute bands paying homage to the greatest names in rock (Depeche Mode, Thin Lizzy, The Who, Jimi Hendrix, Garbage, Trust) while also making room for original acts from the regional and national rock, punk, and metal scene.

Among the bands that have marked past editions are The Silence (Depeche Mode tribute), Fat Lizzy (Thin Lizzy tribute), Ze Where (The Who tribute), Voodoo Tribe (Hendrix tribute), Happy When It Rains (Garbage tribute), Les Grandes Gueules (Trust tribute), Corpus Delicti, Frau Fleischer, Glamour at the Gate, and Speed Rock Machine.

A patron for each edition

Rockfest 1 Max de Bruit has the unique feature of choosing a patron from the French rock scene each year. The 2024 edition was sponsored by Norbert "Nono" Krief, legendary guitarist of Trust, who accompanied the festival for all three days. This patronage gives the event additional legitimacy and strengthens the link between the professional rock scene and associative commitment.

Affordable prices for a noble cause

True to its solidarity spirit, Rockfest 1 Max de Bruit offers very affordable prices: in presale, the day pass is €15 and the 3-day pass is €38. On-site, the price is €20 per day. This pricing policy allows as many people as possible to enjoy the festival while contributing to a noble cause.
