Rock'n Poche: Over Thirty Years of Mountain Rock

Since 1992, Rock'n Poche has brought the sound of rock to the alpine pastures of the Chablais region. Born in the village of Habère-Poche, perched at an altitude of 950 meters, this volunteer-run, non-profit festival has become an unmissable event over the decades for fans of rock, punk, metal, and alternative music in Haute-Savoie. With over 480 bands featured in thirty years, Rock'n Poche has forged a strong musical identity, staying true to the spirit of independent rock.

The "Rue des Alpages": An Atmosphere Like No Other

What sets Rock'n Poche apart from other rock festivals is its "rue des alpages" (alpine street), a unique space that embodies the festival's soul. In this friendly mountain setting, festival-goers gather between concerts to share a drink, enjoy local specialties, and experience the fraternal atmosphere that the event is famous for. Over time, this "street" has become a symbol of the festival's philosophy: music as a vehicle for social connection and conviviality.

A 100% Volunteer-Run Festival

Every year, Rock'n Poche is powered by over 200 volunteers who handle organization, logistics, catering, and guest services. This grassroots, participatory dimension is at the heart of the event's identity, proudly described as "100% non-profit, 100% festive, 100% music," remaining deeply rooted in its local community and values of sharing.

16 Concerts on 2 Stages

The festival features 16 concerts across 2 stages over two days. The Grande Scène (Main Stage) hosts national and international headliners, while the Scène Régionale (Regional Stage) shines a spotlight on emerging bands from the Chablais and Haute-Savoie areas. The lineup spans rock, punk, metal, ska, reggae, electro, and alternative French chanson, with a program built around two pillars: eight acts from the new French scene and eight local and regional groups.

The 2026 Edition: The 34th Annual

The 34th edition of Rock'n Poche takes over the La Frastaz site on Friday, July 31st and Saturday, August 1st, 2026, with gates opening at 6:00 PM each evening. Friday's lineup includes Ultra Vomit, Jahneration, and Skarra Mucci X ManuDigital, alongside Luiza, AmsLaMenace, August is gone, 111, and Animø Virile. Saturday features Mosimann, Danakil, and Sergent Garcia, joined by Kabeaushé, Jahnaton, Blue Laïka, Saxbones, and Send me love letters. The 1-day pass starts at €32 and the 2-day pass at €56, camping included—a price point that reflects the festival's commitment to remaining accessible.
