The world's biggest rock festival in Habère-Poche
Founded in 1992 in Habère-Poche, a small mountain village in Chablais, Haute-Savoie, Rock'n Poche is a non-profit, volunteer-run rock festival that humorously defines itself as 'the world's biggest rock festival in Habère-Poche'. For two days at the end of July/beginning of August, this event, true to the rock spirit, welcomes around 11,000 festival-goers to vibrate to the sound of 16 concerts spread across 2 stages, in the unique atmosphere of its 'rue des alpages' which blends mountain conviviality and rock energy. In over thirty years of existence, the festival has hosted more than 480 bands and has remained true to its associative values, driven by some 240 passionate volunteers.
Since 1992, Rock'n Poche has been making rock resonate in the Chablais mountains. This non-profit, volunteer festival, born in the village of Habère-Poche perched at an altitude of 950 meters, has become over the decades an unmissable event for fans of rock, punk, metal, and alternative music in Haute-Savoie. With over 480 bands programmed in thirty years, Rock'n Poche has forged a strong musical identity, true to the independent rock spirit.
What sets Rock'n Poche apart from other rock festivals is its 'rue des alpages', a unique space that embodies the festival's soul. In this friendly mountain setting, festival-goers gather between concerts to share a drink, taste local specialties, and experience the fraternal atmosphere that has earned the event its reputation. This 'street' has become over time a symbol of the festival's philosophy: music as a vector for social connection and conviviality.
Rock'n Poche is powered each year by around 240 volunteers who ensure the organization, logistics, catering, and reception of the festival. This associative and participatory dimension is at the heart of the event's identity, which refuses to conform to commercial logic and remains true to its local roots and values of sharing.
The festival programs 16 concerts on 2 stages over two days, with a lineup that ranges from rock, punk, metal, ska, reggae, to alternative French chanson. The lineup is unveiled each year in mid-April, maintaining suspense and excitement among loyal festival-goers.
The 34th edition of Rock'n Poche will take place on July 31 and August 1, 2026, in Habère-Poche. The lineup will be unveiled on April 17, 2026. 'Blind pass' pre-sales are offered at €48, a price that reflects the festival's commitment to remaining accessible.
