Wine event at the foot of Mont Sainte-Odile
Rosheim, a medieval town nestled on the Alsace Wine Route, is renowned for its remarkable 12th-century Romanesque House, the oldest civil stone building in Alsace, and for its quality vineyards. The Wine Festival highlights this exceptional heritage by bringing together winemakers, artisans, and food lovers in a unique setting.
Rosheim's wineries, several of which have been practicing organic farming for over a decade, produce wines of great finesse. Domaine Kumpf et Meyer, Domaine Jacques Maetz, and Baron Kirmann offer AOC Alsace, Alsace Grands Crus, and Crémant d'Alsace that reflect the diversity of soils and exposures.
The festival offers a rich and varied program:
Visitors take advantage of the festival to discover Rosheim's exceptional architectural heritage: the Romanesque House, the 12th-century Saints-Pierre-et-Paul Church, the medieval ramparts, and the fortified gates. The town is also the starting point for vineyard trails offering splendid panoramas of the Alsace plain and the Vosges mountains.
The Rosheim Wine Festival returns in October 2026 in the medieval streets of the village. Detailed program to come.
