Rythm'n'Bouffe — edition 2025
Rythm'n'Bouffe 2025 - 10th anniversary edition
The Rythm'n'Bouffe festival celebrated its 10th edition on Saturday, July 5, 2025, marking a decade of music and conviviality on the esplanade of the Chapelle de Saint-Pierre in Pierrerue. To celebrate this anniversary, the SPQR association had planned a memorable evening open from 7:15 PM.
The highlight of the evening was the concert by the full Imbert Family: jazz saxophonist Raphaël Imbert, returned to his native land, accompanied by his daughter Corine, his son Timon, and their musician friends. This unique formation offered a surprising blend of jazz, funk, and disco, with infectious and festive energy.
Later in the evening, Corine DJ Set took over to get the audience dancing on the grass, extending the party until 2 AM. The bar and gourmet snacks were present, true to the spirit of sharing and indulgence that has characterized the festival since its inception.
This tenth edition confirmed Rythm'n'Bouffe's place as a must-attend summer event in Haute-Provence, combining quality music, gastronomy, and the Provençal art of living.

A festival of music and gastronomy in Haute-Provence
Since 2016, the Rythm'n'Bouffe festival has transformed the esplanade of the Chapelle de Saint-Pierre, in the hamlet of Saint-Pierre in Pierrerue (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence), into an open-air party venue every summer. Organized by the SPQR association (Saint Pierre qui Roule), this free and friendly event brings together live music, DJ sets, and culinary delights in an enchanting Provençal setting.
Raphaël Imbert and the Imbert Family at the heart of the programming
The festival is intimately linked to the figure of Raphaël Imbert, an internationally renowned jazz saxophonist and composer, founder of the Compagnie Nine Spirit and former director of the Marseille Conservatory. Originally from the region, Raphaël Imbert returns to his homeland each year to offer the public exceptional concerts. He is accompanied by his family troupe, the Imbert Family (Raphaël, Corine, Timon & Friends), a unique formation that boldly explores the intersections between jazz, funk, and disco. Later in the evening, Corine takes over the DJ set to get the crowd dancing on the grass, under the Haute-Provence stars.
A festive and gourmet evening
Rythm'n'Bouffe lives up to its name: here, rhythm and good food go hand in hand. From 7 p.m., the public is welcomed with a bar and gourmet snacks prepared by the association's volunteers. The atmosphere is family-friendly and relaxed, reflecting the spirit of the hamlet of Saint-Pierre overlooking the Provençal hills. Concerts begin at dusk, and the party continues into the early hours of the morning with lively DJ sets mixing disco, funk, and rock.
An event rooted in the Provençal terroir
More than just a music festival, Rythm'n'Bouffe is a reflection of the community spirit of the hamlet of Saint-Pierre. The SPQR association, founded in 2014, aims to bring together residents, former residents, visitors, and friends for shared moments: meals, songs, games, and celebrations. The festival is the most vibrant manifestation of this, attracting a loyal and curious audience each year, seduced by the authenticity of the place and the quality of the programming.
Ten editions of conviviality
In 2025, Rythm'n'Bouffe celebrated its 10th edition, confirming the sustainability and success of this unique event in Haute-Provence. Free, open-air, and open to all, the festival continues to weave links between music, gastronomy, and the Provençal art of living, under the starry sky of Pierrerue.
