Sarlat Swing It is a jazz and swing festival held on the first weekend of June in the medieval center of Sarlat-la-Canéda. The event transports the city back to the atmosphere of the Roaring Twenties with jazz concerts from the 1920s to 1950s, parades, Charleston, Lindy Hop, and Balboa dance demonstrations, vintage clothing stalls, period hairstyles, and vintage cars.

The Roaring Twenties in Sarlat
Every first weekend of June, Sarlat Swing It transforms the heart of the medieval city into an open-air stage to celebrate swing and the good mood of jazz in the pure tradition of American bands from the 1920s to 1950s. Professionals, enthusiasts, and amateurs gather to experience the exceptional atmosphere of the Roaring Twenties.
Jazz, dance, and vintage
The program combines jazz concerts, parades, and dance scenes in the streets and squares of Sarlat. Demonstrations of Charleston, Lindy Hop, and Balboa invite the public to hit the dance floor. In parallel, stalls selling vintage clothing, makeup, period hairstyles, and a barbershop recreate the event's retro atmosphere.
