The Ska Buz Festival was born in 2017 from the desire of the T'A'BUZ association to create a unifying musical event in the town of Buzançais, in the Indre department. Located at the municipal stadium of La Tête Noire, allée des Sports, the festival offers eclectic music concerts mixing ska, reggae, hip-hop, world music, and many other genres. The event is supported by about fifty volunteers of all ages, a large part of whom are members of A.C.S.B., the Buzançais football club.
The Ska Buz Festival's programming is characterized by its unapologetic eclecticism. While ska is the event's common thread, the festival opens its doors wide to all world music: reggae, hip-hop, African music, brass bands, and festive music. Over the years, Ska Buz has hosted renowned artists from the international ska and reggae scene, such as Sara Lugo accompanied by DJ Selecta Antwan, as well as numerous emerging groups. Musical diversity is at the core of the festival's identity.
The T'A'BUZ association is not limited to organizing the festival. It actively participates in the development of culture among audiences and institutions, uniting local, associative, and private energies around its values of sharing, openness, and living together. Ska Buz Festival is therefore much more than just a musical event: it is a territorial project that contributes to the cultural animation of Buzançais and the Val de l'Indre - Brenne inter-municipal community.
