In the heart of Sologne, between forests and ponds, the small village of Souesmes hosts a unique literary event every autumn: the Clairière aux Livres between Sologne and Berry. Supported by the association Artistement Vôtre en Sologne, this event transforms the Albert Benoist park into an open-air literary fair, where the passion for books is shared in an enchanting natural setting.

The originality of Clairière aux Livres lies in its open-air format. The stands of authors and publishers are set up under the trees of the Albert Benoist park, creating a unique atmosphere of a countryside literary fair. When the weather permits, visitors stroll between the signing tables, enjoying the autumnal colors of Sologne, creating a different experience of encountering books than in indoor fairs.

The fair hosts about thirty authors and publishers, mainly from the Centre-Val de Loire region and neighboring departments. All literary genres are represented:
