Europe's premier festival of Latin and Afro-Cuban music
Tempo Latino was born in 1994 from the passion of a small group of Latin music lovers in Vic-Fezensac. In three decades, the festival has become the unmissable European reference for Afro-Cuban music, salsa, and Caribbean rhythms.
Every year at the end of July, Vic-Fezensac transforms into a huge dance floor. The festival features concerts on several stages, indoors and outdoors, with the biggest artists on the international Latin scene. From salsa to reggaeton, from Cuban son to Colombian cumbia, all styles are represented.
Tempo Latino is also a place for learning and sharing. Dance workshops are offered throughout the festival: Cuban salsa, Puerto Rican salsa, bachata, kizomba, rueda de casino. Percussion masterclasses allow musicians to get acquainted with Afro-Cuban rhythms.
The atmosphere of Tempo Latino is incomparable. The village streets come alive with spontaneous dances, impromptu concerts, and a contagious joie de vivre. Restaurants and bodegas offer Cuban and Gascon specialties, creating a culinary fusion that mirrors the festival.
