About Terr'Agri

Terr'Agri is the departmental agricultural festival of the Indre region, organized by the Young Farmers union (JA 36). The event moves to a different town for each edition: Montgivray in 2019, Mouhet in 2022, Levroux in 2025, and Aigurande on September 5th and 6th, 2026. The host canton is responsible for organizing the event. The two-day program features agricultural competitions, demonstrations, a farmers' market, children's activities, and on-site dining.

Terr'Agri — edition 2026

Terr'Agri is coming to Aigurande, at the Les Chatrettes site, on Saturday, September 5th and Sunday, September 6th, 2026. The Indre department's agricultural festival moves to a different town each year: following Levroux in 2025, this year's event is being organized by the Young Farmers (Jeunes Agriculteurs) of the Boischaut Sud canton. Admission is free, with doors opening at 2:00 PM on Saturday and 10:00 AM on Sunday.

Terr'Agri 2026 in Aigurande

The host town was announced during the JA 36 general assembly and later confirmed by the Aigurande town hall.

Admission is free. The site opens at 2:00 PM on Saturday and 10:00 AM on Sunday. Two meals are planned: spit-roasted beef leg on Saturday evening and a Berry Burger on Sunday at noon.

Access in 2026

The 2026 edition will be held at the Les Chatrettes site in the town of Aigurande (36140), not in Levroux, which hosted the 2025 edition. Admission is free.

A festival that moves every year

The Young Farmers of Indre (JA 36) organize Terr'Agri and entrust each edition to one of the network's cantons, which then selects the host town. The festival was held in Montgivray in 2019, in Mouhet on August 27th and 28th, 2022, in Levroux at the Grange Dieu site on August 30th and 31st, 2025, and will be in Aigurande at the Les Chatrettes site on September 5th and 6th, 2026. Since the location changes from year to year, please check the town before you head out.

Combine harvester racing and competitions

The 'moiss'batt'cross'—a race of combine harvesters on a dirt track—is a staple of the event. The 2025 program in Levroux featured this alongside 'traîne-culs' (small tractor races), tractor rides, and the departmental plowing finals, spread across both days, with 'Agrilympics' and ULM discovery flights on Saturday afternoon.

Market, exhibitions, and meals

A farmers' market, exhibitions, and activities for children run throughout the weekend, along with a refreshment bar. Two signature meals are served every year: spit-roasted beef on Saturday evening and the 'Berry Burger' on Sunday at lunchtime.
