Tous sur le Pont is a popular festival organized every year on the first weekend of July in Argentat-sur-Dordogne to celebrate the history of the gabariers, those boatmen who, from the 18th to the 19th century, navigated the Dordogne on wooden rafts loaded with goods from the upper country to Libourne and Bordeaux. This river epic, an integral part of Argentat's identity, is celebrated each year in a festive, colorful, and zany atmosphere that transforms the town into a huge playground and party venue.
Costumed Parade and Descent of Customized Rafts
Over the weekend, more than 30 customized rafts compete on the Dordogne river in a good-natured competition where creativity, humor, and festive spirit take precedence over athletic performance. Each costumed crew presents its decorated raft on an original theme, creating a colorful spectacle on the water. A grand parade crosses the center of Argentat, which becomes entirely pedestrian for the occasion, with a banda parading, costumed participants, street entertainment, and a unique river carnival atmosphere in Corrèze.

The Tous sur le Pont program includes two evenings of open-air concerts offering eclectic lineups: contemporary music, French chanson, rock, fanfares, electro, and world music. The festival takes place in the center of Argentat-sur-Dordogne, 19400 Argentat-sur-Dordogne.
- By car: Argentat-sur-Dordogne is located 30 km southwest of Tulle (D1120) and 50 km southeast of Brive-la-Gaillarde (D940). Free parking near the town center (pedestrian town center during the event).
- By train: Brive-la-Gaillarde station (50 km), then bus or car rental.
