Live music festival at the gates of Cahors
Trespoux Part en Live is a contemporary music festival organized by the association En Scène 46 in Trespoux-Rassiels, five minutes from Cahors in the Lot region. Created in 2015, it takes place under the covered market hall of the town square and offers an eclectic program mixing rock, ska, French chanson, and folk. Friendly and accessible, the event offers on-site catering, a bar, and free camping, in a village festival spirit. Three editions have hosted artists such as Boulevard des Airs, Babylon Circus, and Sinsemilia.
Trespoux Part en Live was born in 2015 from the desire of the association En Scène 46, chaired by Constance Calmon, to liven up the Cahors agglomeration and bring life to the surrounding small villages. The festival is held under the covered market hall of Trespoux-Rassiels, on the Place de la Mairie, just five minutes from Cahors. This unique setting, both intimate and warm, gives the event a special atmosphere where artists and the public connect in rare proximity.
The first edition took place on June 6, 2015, with Boulevard des Airs, an iconic French pop-folk band, headlining, accompanied by DJ Zebra and his Mambopunk show. The success of this inaugural evening immediately set the festival's dynamic in motion.
Building on this first success, a second edition was organized on September 18, 2015, with Babylon Circus headlining, a legendary Lyon-based group mixing ska, rock, and French chanson, accompanied by Billy Hornett, a rock'n'roll band with blues and punk influences, and the collective Lot Of Sound with DJ FatiCat to close the evening.
The third edition took place on May 27, 2016, bringing together three renowned bands: Sinsemilia, a key figure in French festive reggae, Lyre le Temps, an energetic electro-swing band, and KKC Orchestra. The doors opened at 8 PM, with free camping and on-site catering confirming the festival's friendly and accessible spirit.
The association En Scène 46, based in Labastide-Marnhac, has been organizing festive events in the Lot region since 2008. Trespoux Part en Live is part of this initiative to culturally revitalize the Lot territory, with the belief that live music can transform a village into a place of meeting and sharing. The festival offers a warm welcome with a bar, catering, parking, and free camping, in a spirit of popular celebration open to all generations.
Throughout its three editions, Trespoux Part en Live has offered a varied and high-quality program, spanning pop, folk, rock, ska, reggae, French chanson, and electro-swing. Artists like Boulevard des Airs, Babylon Circus, and Sinsemilia attest to the festival's musical ambition, favoring bands with infectious energy and unifying music. Each evening continues into the early morning hours, powered by DJ sets and an unparalleled festive atmosphere.
