Franco-Algerian short film festival in Saint-Jean-du-Gard
2026
About YS Festival
The YS Festival brings together short films by Algerian directors in Saint-Jean-du-Gard, in the heart of the Cévennes. It fosters dialogue between French and Algerian film professionals through screenings, panel discussions, and networking events, with the goal of showcasing works rarely seen outside of Algeria. The festival's name pays tribute to Yann Sinic, the author and filmmaker who passed away in 2024.
