The festival takes over several venues in Tours and its metropolitan area, creating a festival trail through the city. Le Temps Machine in Joué-lès-Tours remains the beating heart of the event, but Allotropiques also takes over unexpected places (halls, cultural centers, public spaces) to bring music where it's not expected. In 2023, the festival notably transformed the Halles de Tours into a nightclub.
