An eco-responsible festival in the heart of Touraine

Nestled in Civray-de-Touraine, in the Cher valley, the Les Pieds dans la Sauce Festival has established itself since 2011 as a major summer event for contemporary music in Indre-et-Loire. Driven by the association La Sauce Rurale Sound System, this human-sized festival combines musical discovery, ecological commitment, and conviviality.

An eclectic and committed program

The festival's program aims to be resolutely open and curious. It supports emerging music and new aesthetics, whether acoustic, rock, or electronic. Each edition mixes established artists and discoveries, offering a broad panorama of contemporary music: rock, electro, world music, cumbia, reggae, chanson, and many other styles cross paths on the festival stages.

Artists from diverse backgrounds

Over the years, the festival has hosted diverse groups such as Nai-Jah and the Kwenu Band, Double Vitrage, Bleu Shinobi, Chiva Rumbera, Mitsaitsaiky, and Coton. This diversity reflects the open spirit that characterizes the event.

A strong environmental commitment

Les Pieds dans la Sauce stands out for its environmental and sustainable development values. The food and drinks offered on-site come exclusively from local organic agriculture. A map of partner producers is made available to the public, promoting short supply chains and the discovery of the Touraine region.

Camping and accessibility

The festival offers free camping on-site as well as free parking, facilitating access for festival-goers from all over the region. Public transport options (regional train and bus) are also available to reach Civray-de-Touraine.

Les Pieds Mobiles: the festival spirit on the move

In addition to the festival, the association organizes Les Pieds Mobiles, a series of traveling concerts limited to 300 people, held in various towns within the community of communes Autour de Chenonceaux Bléré-Val de Cher. This initiative extends the festival's spirit throughout the year.
