Electronic music leaves the clubs

Since 2014, Les Îlots Électroniques have been transforming the parks and gardens of Tours into open-air dancefloors. Created in 2009, the association has set itself the mission of taking electronic music out of clubbing clichés to present it in the beautiful green spaces of Touraine, in a family-friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Idylle: a new format for a new decade

To celebrate its new decade of existence, the association has reinvented its historic format by offering Idylle, a concept that combines daytime open airs and nighttime parties. This new format unfolds on Île Simon, at the foot of the Pont Napoléon, with several thematic areas:

• A techno stage under the bridge, in an industrial setting
• A 100% live stage with non-electronic music under a large tree
• A decorated mini-stage with intimate DJ sets

Île Simon: a natural setting in the heart of Tours

Île Simon, located in the center of Tours on the Loire River, offers an exceptional natural setting to host the festival. Between the river, the century-old trees, and the Pont Napoléon, festival-goers enjoy a unique environment that blends nature and urbanity.

An event rooted in its territory

Les Îlots Électroniques have become a true institution on the Tours cultural scene. The association is firmly rooted in its territory and highlights local artists and cultural associations from the region. With about ten events organized each year, Les Îlots liven up Sunday afternoons in Tours by offering quality programming in unusual locations.

Accessibility and conviviality

True to its values of openness, the festival offers accessible prices with a 2-day pass at a moderate price and free entry for under 14s. The festive and benevolent atmosphere allows all audiences to discover or rediscover electronic music in an enchanting setting.
