The 13th edition will take place from September 30 to October 4, 2026, at the Cinéma le Doron. As in previous years, the event will feature a selection of award-winning films from the Angoulême festival, along with previews and opportunities to meet the film crews.

Born from the filming of Mince alors !
The festival was established in Brides-les-Bains in 2014. Two years prior, Charlotte de Turckheim had filmed Mince alors ! there, co-produced by Dominique Besnehard. Didier Le Lostec, then director of the thermal baths, suggested to Besnehard—who co-founded the Angoulême Francophone Film Festival with Marie-France Brière—that they bring a portion of the event to the resort.
The Angoulême off-festival
Each edition features a selection of films awarded at the Angoulême festival, which takes place in late August in Charente, alongside previews and documentaries followed by discussions with the film teams. The festival also hosts a masterclass, autograph sessions, and evening concerts at Place du Centenaire. It is organized by the Brides-les-Bains tourist office in partnership with the local municipality.
Since its inception, the festival has welcomed over 20,000 spectators for more than 100 films.
