About Bagnères-de-Bigorre Comedy Festival

Every year, the Bagnères-de-Bigorre Rotary Club hosts two nights dedicated to stand-up and comedy at the Halle aux Grains. The format has remained unchanged since it was first created by Fred Leduc and a team of club volunteers: the evening kicks off in a village area featuring a bar and food stalls, followed by an 80s-style cabaret interlude, and finally three artists taking the stage for forty minutes each. All proceeds from the event go towards supporting the Rotary Club's charitable initiatives.

For its tenth edition, the Festival du Rire brings together six comedians over two nights at the Halle aux Grains in Bagnères-de-Bigorre: Thierry Marqué, Noémi Bousquainaud, and Christophe Basclo on Friday, followed by Nilsson José, Jessica Anneet, and David Semmama on Saturday. Each evening kicks off with a festival village featuring food and drinks, followed by an 80s-style cabaret interlude before the three stand-up sets.
