The 4th edition of the Balade Gourmande du Vignoble Jurassien (Balade Gourmande du Triangle d'Or) will take place on Sunday, July 5, 2026 in Arbois. A gastronomic hike of approximately 10 km through the town and the Arbois vineyard, punctuated by five gourmet stops (aperitif, starter, main course, cheese, dessert) accompanied by Jura wines tasted by the glass. Staggered departures from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM from the Fruitière vinicole d'Arbois – Château Béthanie.
4th Edition — Sunday, July 5, 2026
The Balade Gourmande du Vignoble Jurassien, also known as Balade Gourmande du Triangle d'Or, returns on Sunday, July 5, 2026, to Arbois for its 4th edition. Organized by the Triangle d'Or Jura Foot, this gastronomic hike of approximately 10 kilometers combines discovery of the local region, a friendly walk, and a tasting of Jura wines.
A 10 km route with 5 gourmet stops
The start and finish are at the Fruitière vinicole d'Arbois – Château Béthanie. The route crosses the town of Arbois and the surrounding vineyard, with five gourmet stops:
- Aperitif in Arbois, following in the footsteps of Louis Pasteur (his college, his family home)
- Starter near Les Tourillons
- Main Course in the village of Montigny-les-Arsures
- Cheese at Tour Curon, through the vineyard
- Dessert and sparkling wines upon return, in the park of Château Béthanie
Musical and varied entertainment punctuates the route. Departures are staggered from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, in groups of up to 50 walkers, to ensure smooth flow along the route.

Registration is mandatory and can be done online on Billetweb, until June 21, 2026 (no on-site registration). The price includes the five gourmet stops, wine tastings by the glass at each stop, the marked itinerary, as well as a glass holder and a screen-printed tasting glass (adults only).

The Balade Gourmande du Vignoble Jurassien, also known as the Balade Gourmande du Triangle d'Or, is a unique experience that combines hiking and gastronomic discovery in the heart of the Arbois vineyard, one of the most prestigious appellations in the Jura.
A 10-kilometer route in 5 stages
The approximately 10-kilometer route winds through the town of Arbois and its surrounding vineyards, with five gourmet stops along the way:
- 1st stop — Appetizer: rue du Pré Vercel in Arbois, tasting of a local appetizer
- 2nd stop — Winery: stop at Domaine Rolet for a tasting of Jura wines in the heart of the vines
- 3rd stop — Main Course: village of Mesnay, tasting of the main course with local products
- 4th stop — Cheeses: tasting of Jura cheeses (Comté, Morbier) accompanied by wines
- 5th stop — Dessert: arrival at Château Béthanie for dessert and the end of the walk
In the footsteps of Louis Pasteur
The start is from Square Sarret in Arbois, and the route follows paths linked to the history of Louis Pasteur, who lived and worked in Arbois. The walk along La Cuisance, the river that flows through the town, offers bucolic and relaxing scenery.
Musical entertainment and festive atmosphere
Musical entertainment punctuates the route at each stop, creating a festive and friendly atmosphere. Local musicians and bands accompany the walkers throughout the day, contributing to making this walk a true popular event.
The Arbois vineyard
Arbois is one of the cradles of the Jura vineyard and the first AOC in France (1936). The town is famous for its distinctive wines: Vin Jaune, Vin de Paille, Savagnin, Chardonnay, Poulsard, and Trousseau. The Balade Gourmande is a unique opportunity to discover these grape varieties in situ, at the wineries along the route.
Organization and registration
The event is organized by Triangle d'Or Jura Foot, a local sports association. Registration is mandatory and done online. Departures are staggered from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM to ease traffic flow on the route. The number of places is limited.
