A Celtic festival at the foot of the Pyrenees

The Celtic Pic Festival takes place in Campan, in the Adour Valley (Hautes-Pyrénées), just a few kilometers from Bagnères-de-Bigorre. Organized by the Pyren'Eire association, the festival creates a unique dialogue between Irish, Breton, and Occitan musical traditions over the course of a weekend.

The concept is simple: three days of concerts, dances, workshops, and music sessions held in a mountain village where the music flows freely from the village hall to the market square and local cafes.

Concerts, dances, and sessions

Evening events are held at the Campan village hall, with a series of performances running late into the night. During the day, the festival hosts Irish music sessions throughout the village, as well as storytelling and illustrated concerts, with some events taking place at the village hall in neighboring Beaudéan.

Dance workshops

Dance is a cornerstone of the festival, featuring workshops in traditional Irish dance, traditional Occitan dance, and Sean Nós, all led by guest instructors.

A growing festival

The first edition of the Celtic Pic Festival was held in 2024. The second took place in 2025, and the 2026 edition marks the third year. For this third installment, the organizers have expanded the program with more daytime activities and masterclasses, while staying true to the spirit of the festival's beginnings.
