About Châteauroux International DARC Festival and Workshop
Organized every summer by the DARC association (Dance, Art, Rhythm, Culture), the Stage-Festival International de Châteauroux combines intensive workshops in dance, singing, and acting with a series of concerts open to the public. For two weeks, hundreds of participants from across France and abroad train with professional instructors and musicians before taking to the stage for a grand finale.
The Stage International de Châteauroux takes place every August. Hundreds of students participate in this dance, singing, and acting event, which offers a wide range of disciplines led by expert instructors and musical accompanists. At the end of the two-week program, all participants come together on stage for a spectacular final performance.
Alongside the workshops, the DARC association hosts a series of public concerts in Châteauroux each year. Past editions have featured top-tier artists such as Julien Doré, Boy George, Renan Luce, Vianney, Boulevard des Airs, Naâman, and Feu! Chatterton.
The festival concludes each year with a final show featuring all the participants of the Stage International de Châteauroux.
Châteauroux International DARC Festival and Workshop — edition 2026
The 51st edition of the Stage-Festival International de Châteauroux takes place from August 9th to 21st, 2026. It features 13 days of intensive workshops in dance, singing, and acting, divided into four levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced, and masterclass), culminating in a grand finale show featuring all participants. Alongside the workshops, a concert series will be held in Châteauroux from August 11th to 21st.
51st Edition — August 9th to 21st, 2026
For this 51st edition, the Stage International de Châteauroux offers 13 days of unique, intensive training across four skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced, and masterclass). The program focuses on stage preparation, leading up to a final performance that brings all students together on stage.
Evening concerts will take place in Châteauroux from August 11th to 21st, 2026.
