About Colors Festival

Colors Festival Tours is an immersive urban art event led by Colors Festivals, an international collective present in Paris, Manchester, and Bordeaux. The festival transforms a former historic hotel in the center of Tours into a 300 m² art gallery where over 30 artists create spectacular installations. Street art takes over the heart of Tours

Colors Festival Tours burst onto the cultural scene in Tours by transforming a former historic hotel in the city center into a unique immersive artistic experience. Located at 1 rue Victor Laloux, just a stone's throw from Tours train station, the Hôtel Colors offers a 300 m² artistic journey where each room of the former establishment is taken over by a different artist, creating a fascinating dialogue between heritage architecture and contemporary urban creation.

Over 30 local and international artists

The festival brings together over 30 artists with diverse styles, from the local Tours scene to the international street art scene. Graffiti artists, muralists, urban sculptors, digital artists, and visual artists converge in this space of free expression where works evolve over the weeks. Each visit is therefore a unique experience, with creations regularly renewed throughout the exhibition season. Multiple techniques are employed: aerosol paint, acrylic, 3D installations, video mapping, collage, and mixed media.

A meteoric popular success

The Hôtel Colors has enjoyed immediate and spectacular success, attracting over 10,000 visitors since its opening, with regularly sold-out weekends — an unprecedented surge for the Colors Festivals collective, which organizes similar events in other major cities like Paris, Manchester, and Bordeaux. This success highlights the Tours public's appetite for urban art and accessible contemporary creation.

Murs de Loire: urban art takes over the city

Building on the success of the Hôtel Colors, the festival has led to the creation of the Murs de Loire festival, whose first edition took place in July 2025. About ten artists painted on facades and large walls in the center of Tours and Saint-Pierre-des-Corps, forming a route like an open-air museum. This lasting initiative permanently transforms the urban landscape of Tours and places the city on the map of French street art.
