The largest European gathering of historic cars on the legendary centenary autodrome of Linas-Montlhéry
Some places make automotive history. The Autodrome de Linas-Montlhéry, built in 1924 and inaugurated on October 4th of that year, is one of them. Located straddling the towns of Linas and Montlhéry in Essonne, this historic circuit, unique in Europe—with its characteristic high-banked speed ring—has seen the greatest automotive champions: René Dreyfus, Achille Varzi, Tazio Nuvolari, Juan Manuel Fangio...
The Autodrome de Linas-Montlhéry is now managed by the UTAC (Union Technique de l'Automobile, du Motocycle et du Cycle). Its speed ring, 2.5 km in circumference and banked at 51° on the turns, is one of the last banked test tracks in Europe. Classified as a historic monument, it continues to host numerous automotive events each year.
The circuit was the setting for the ACF Grand Prix from 1925 to 1937, and for speed records and endurance record attempts for decades. Today, it is a living memorial to French automotive history.
Created to celebrate historic cars in all their diversity, the Coupes Auto Légende have become the unmissable annual event for historic automobile enthusiasts. Held every second weekend of October on the autodrome, they bring together:
