The reference chamber music festival where generations of musicians meet
Created in 1997 by a group of passionate young musicians around Renaud Capuçon, Nicholas Angelich, Jérôme Pernoo, and Jérôme Ducros, the Deauville Easter Festival has become over nearly thirty years one of the most respected chamber music festivals in Europe.
The spirit of the festival has always been based on the dialogue of generations. Elder musicians "co-opt" young classical talents, inviting them to share the stage and explore a demanding repertoire together. This unique model of artistic transmission and creation has revealed many talents on the international music scene.
The concerts take place at the Salle Elie de Brignac – Arqana, a remarkable acoustic venue located in the heart of Deauville. The festival is organized over three weekends in spring, with programs ranging from trios to symphonic concerts, including vocal music.
The festival is supported by the association Les Amis de la Musique à Deauville, with the support of the Casino Barrière de Deauville. This association also organizes the Août Musical, thus extending the festival's spirit into the summer.
The Deauville Easter Festival celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2026! From April 18 to May 2, 2026, the Salle Elie de Brignac – Arqana will host an exceptional program celebrating three decades of chamber music, transmission, and artistic discoveries. The full program will be announced on the official website.
