About Éclats, the Voice Festival
Every year in early September, the Éclats festival brings together the full spectrum of the human voice: singing, theatre, readings, sound poetry, cabaret, and world music, spread over seven days in Dieulefit and its surrounding villages. The festival is organized by the Éclats association in Dieulefit, led by president Isabelle Bethemont, with Camille Audergon serving as artistic director.
The festival offers much more than just indoor concerts. From roaming street performances, casual talks, and storytelling walks to writing workshops and late-night cabaret, the event blends headline acts with interactive experiences, inviting the audience to step out of their seats and become active participants.
Éclats, the Voice Festival — edition 2026
From September 7th to 13th, 2026, Dieulefit hosts seven days dedicated to the human voice: jazz and opera with Trio Barolo, drum-comedy from Fill's Monkey, musical theater with Machines à liberté, and two double-bill evenings featuring Nicolas Jules, Mathieu Boogaerts, LEï, and La Mal Coiffée. Between the evening concerts, the days are filled with street performances, talks, storytelling walks, and a 'carte blanche' for Gabriel, with cabarets or piano bars to keep the nights going. The festival wraps up on the 13th with a closing party featuring Plastic Boum Boum and the week's artists, followed by two days of residency and a final presentation at the media library on the 15th.
