En Van Simone: The Vanlife Gathering in Auvergne
En Van Simone is the first event dedicated to the world of vanlife in Auvergne. Created by CMONEVENT, this festival has quickly established itself as a must-attend event for lovers of van travel, freedom, and the outdoors. Held at Camping du Mas in Issoire, Puy-de-Dôme, it attracts over 5,000 visitors each year for a festive and inspiring weekend.
A Nomad Expo Village
At the heart of the festival, the Nomad Expo Village brings together over 60 exhibitors: van converters, sellers, renters, accessory suppliers, and service providers dedicated to vanlife. It's an opportunity to discover the latest trends in vehicle conversion, compare offers, and meet industry professionals.
Unique Experiences
The festival offers much more than an exhibition:
- Crafts, Services & Wellness Area with 5 to 10 local artisans
- Masterclasses and workshops on vanlife and nomadic travel
- Cinema Area with films dedicated to vanlife
- Concerts and DJ sets on both evenings of the festival
- Foodtrucks and bar for refreshments on site
The Bivouac Area
One of the festival's unique features is its bivouac area, allowing visitors arriving by van or converted vehicle to park and sleep on-site. In 2025, over 550 people in bivouac across 270 vehicles enjoyed this immersive experience. The bivouac area creates a true ephemeral community of vanlifers sharing their common passion.
A Growing Festival
Building on its success in Auvergne, the En Van Simone festival is expanding with a second edition in Stella Plage, on the Côte d'Opale, thus broadening its reach across France.
