The charity festival of Château de Valençay against school bullying
Event'fest is a charity festival created in 2025 at the Château de Valençay, in the Indre region. This first edition, dedicated to the fight against school bullying and the support of young farmers, offers a full day combining open-air concerts, art exhibitions, local product tastings, food trucks, a wellness village, and participatory workshops. The highlight is an immersive 180° musical and pyrotechnic show, a musical with nearly forty professional artists. The profits are donated to associations.
Event'fest is a new kind of charity festival, born in 2025 in the prestigious setting of the Château de Valençay, one of the most beautiful castles in the Loire Valley. This ambitious charity festival brings together heritage, culture, and social commitment around two causes: the fight against school bullying and support for young farmers in the Indre region. All profits from ticket sales are donated to associations working in these areas.
Event'fest offers a full day of entertainment and discoveries in the various spaces of the castle and its grounds. From 10 am, visitors can explore the castle and its history. From noon, a gastronomic village composed of food trucks and local product stands welcomes food lovers. Art exhibitions take over the castle spaces, while a wellness village is set up in the park with relaxation and personal development workshops.
From 5 pm, open-air concerts follow one another, featuring local and regional artists. But the most anticipated moment of the evening is the show “VIVRE — La Comédie Musicale”, an original and immersive 180° creation scheduled for 9:30 pm. This innovative show combines singing, dancing, special effects, and fireworks to tell the story of Malo, a young child who is a victim of school bullying. Nearly forty professional artists perform on stage in this poignant and spectacular musical, designed to raise public awareness of this cause.
Beyond the show, Event'fest affirms a strong territorial anchoring. The presence of an exhibition of agricultural machinery in the courtyard highlights the agricultural world of the Indre and its challenges. The main courtyard of the castle hosts interactive workshops and activities throughout the day. At 11:45 pm, a check is solemnly presented to an anti-bullying association, concretizing the festival's solidarity commitment.
For its first edition, Event'fest aims for an attendance of over 3,000 people, an ambitious goal that reflects the organizers' desire to create a major event in the Berrichon festive landscape. By combining the prestige of the Château de Valençay, the diversity of the program, and the charitable commitment, Event'fest aspires to become an unmissable annual summer event in the Indre, proving that celebration and solidarity can go hand in hand.

The charity festival continues its commitment against school bullying and in support of local causes, with a program combining concerts, shows, exhibitions, and activities in the exceptional setting of the castle.
