About Festichanvre
Festichanvre brings together a day of workshops, lectures, and tastings in Cambo-les-Bains, all centered around hemp: from hemp-lime construction and cosmetics to food and textiles. The Abondance Nature association, dedicated to agroecology and permaculture, is organizing this event alongside Pyrénées Chanvre to showcase the plant's practical applications, ranging from building bricks to hemp seed pesto.

The inaugural edition takes place on September 27, 2025, at the Halle Bernadette Jougleux in Parc Saint-Joseph. Admission is free from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The day will be filled with lectures, hands-on workshops, activities focused on wild edible plants, and culinary demonstrations, concluding with an artistic performance.
