A cultural festival in the heart of Villedieu

Festipolitain was born in July 2025 from the initiative of the association Les 2 Lucioles, with the support of about ten local associations. This first cultural festival in Villedieu-sur-Indre unfolds in the green setting of the municipal park to offer a full day of shows, workshops, and meetings accessible to all.

A multidisciplinary program

The festival offers a rich and varied program that emphasizes multidisciplinarity. Theater, storytelling, live music, participatory games, photographic and artistic exhibitions are presented throughout the day. Each participating association brings its specialty and energy to animate the different areas of the park.

A spirit of sharing and conviviality

Festipolitain aims above all to be a space for sharing: sharing knowledge, motivations, energies, and shows for all audiences. Admission is completely free, allowing families, children, and the curious to enjoy all the activities offered. A catering area completes the offering for a friendly outdoor day.

A strong associative foundation

The originality of Festipolitain lies in its collaborative associative structure. About ten local structures and associations join forces to create a collective event that reflects the vitality of the associative fabric of Villedieu-sur-Indre. This participatory model ensures the diversity of the program and the involvement of the local community.

A new summer event

With Festipolitain, Villedieu-sur-Indre enriches its cultural calendar, already marked by the Goualantes Théopolitaines in autumn. This new summer event complements the town's cultural offerings and confirms the dynamism of local associative actors throughout the year.
