Street music at the heart of Is-sur-Tille
Created to liven up the streets of the Tillo-Issoise city, Fest'Is is a festival of bands and street music that transforms the city center of Is-sur-Tille into a vast festive stage for a weekend in May. About ten bands and a batucada take turns on different squares and intersections, creating a friendly and lively popular festival atmosphere.
A solidarity festival
The originality of Fest'Is lies in its solidarity dimension. On Sunday, the musicians leave the city center to visit retirement homes and specialized centers in the area, where they share musical moments with residents and their families. This generous initiative makes the festival unique and strengthens its roots in the local social fabric.
In conjunction with the Spring Fair
Fest'Is takes place alongside the Spring Fair of Is-sur-Tille, which brings together merchants, exhibitors, rides, and entertainment in the city center. The two events complement each other to offer a complete festive day, from the morning sale to the band concerts in the late afternoon and evening.
