Country de Longny — edition 2026
The Longny Country Festival returns on July 18 and 19, 2026, in Longny-au-Perche (Longny-les-Villages, 61), organized by The Coyote Line Dance association. Two days dedicated to country music and dance with concerts, line dance initiations, country exhibitors, an Indian camp, workshops, and entertainment in the heart of the Perche region.
The Longny Country Festival 2026
For this new edition, The Coyote Line Dance association takes over the site on rue de la Seigneurie (behind Intermarché) in Longny-au-Perche on July 18 and 19, 2026. On Saturday, the festival opens from 10 AM to midnight; on Sunday, from 10 AM to 6 PM.
On the program: country dance entertainment and initiations, concerts, country exhibitors, an Indian camp, workshops led by Arnaud Marraffa, and archery. On Saturday, July 18, at 9 PM, the public can attend the concert of the band Austin Riders, followed by an evening dance.
A refreshment stand and light catering are available on site (coolers prohibited), including a Chili Con Carne meal offered at the festival site.

Access
Longny-les-Villages is located in Perche, east of Orne.
- By car: From Alençon, D955 then D918 (approx. 45 minutes). From Nogent-le-Rotrou, D918 (approx. 20 minutes). From Paris, A11 towards Le Mans then D923 (approx. 2h15). Free parking on the festival site.
- By train: Nearest station in Nogent-le-Rotrou (20 km), then taxi or carpooling.

The Wild West Comes to Perche
Every summer, Longny-les-Villages comes alive to the rhythm of the Festival Country. For a weekend, this charming town in Perche transforms into a corner of the American Wild West, welcoming hundreds of country culture enthusiasts from all over Normandy and beyond.
Country Music and Dance
The festival features a musical program focused on country music in all its forms: traditional country, new country, bluegrass, country rock... Bands and artists take turns on stage to offer the audience lively concerts that invite dancing.
Dance Workshops
One of the festival's highlights is the country dance workshops. Experienced instructors guide beginners in learning the basic steps: line dance, couple dances, two-step, cha-cha... These workshops allow everyone to actively participate in the country dances that set the rhythm for the weekend.
A Western Village
The festival site hosts a true western village with specialized exhibitors: boots, hats, belts, western wear, Native American jewelry, saddlery items... The stalls allow you to get equipped from head to toe to fully experience the country lifestyle.
Activities and Demonstrations
Various demonstrations punctuate the weekend: lasso, whip handling, American vehicle exhibition... Country dances are held in the evening, bringing together experienced and novice dancers in a joyful and relaxed atmosphere.
Catering and Camaraderie
The on-site catering offers specialties inspired by Texan and American cuisine, as well as local Norman products. A dinner is offered on Saturday evening by reservation, providing a friendly moment before the evening's dance.
