Éauze BD: Comics in Gascogne

The Festival de la Bande Dessinée en Gascogne is a major comic strip event in the Southwest of France. For over 30 years, it has brought together about thirty renowned authors and screenwriters every first weekend of August in Eauze for moments of sharing with the public.

Meetings and Signings

The heart of the festival is the meetings between authors and readers. Festival-goers can chat with their favorite artists and get personalized signings. The authors are present throughout the weekend, in a relaxed atmosphere typical of the Gers.

Workshops and Exhibitions

Introduction workshops to the art of comic strips are offered for children and adults. Exhibitions of original plates allow you to discover the behind-the-scenes of creation. Conferences and debates on current comic strip news complete the program.
