The Festival de Saint-Robert was created in 1972 and has been celebrating classical music for over 50 years in the medieval village of Saint-Robert, classified among the Most Beautiful Villages of France. Every summer, from mid-July to mid-August, the festival offers a program of classical music concerts, chamber music, recitals, and themed concerts with renowned artists from the international and national scene. The Festival de Saint-Robert is one of the oldest classical music festivals in France and a major player in cultural life in Corrèze.

The Festival de Saint-Robert hosts renowned artists from the classical scene every year: soloists, chamber music ensembles, orchestras, choirs, and vocal groups. In 2024, the thematic edition “The festival goes to the movies” offered a program centered around film music with the Orchestre de Chambre de la Nouvelle Europe. Concerts are held in the Romanesque church of Saint-Robert, one of France's Most Beautiful Villages, featuring Thibaut Garcia, Ensemble Contraste, Pierre Genisson and Bruno Fontaine, Natalie Dessay performing Mozart, and Mozart's Requiem for the closing.
54th Edition of the Saint-Robert Festival
The 54th edition of the Saint-Robert Festival takes place from July 18 to August 14, 2026, in the medieval village of Saint-Robert (Corrèze), classified among France's Most Beautiful Villages. A classical music festival since 1972, it welcomes nationally and internationally renowned artists every summer.
Concerts are held at 9 PM in the Romanesque church of Saint-Robert, a building offering remarkable acoustics and a unique setting for music. The 2026 program combines guitar recital, chamber music, a tribute to Schubert, American standards and French chanson, as well as a Mozart program celebrating the 270th anniversary of the composer's birth.
The festival opens on July 18 with an outdoor bandstand concert and the vernissage of a visual arts exhibition (salle André Rousseau), bringing together painters, photographers, and sculptors throughout the summer.
