About Gueilles de Bonde
The Festival des Gueilles de Bonde is a free and family-friendly street festival that enlivens the city center of Macau, in Médoc (Gironde), about twenty minutes from Bordeaux, every first weekend of September. Created in 2003, it brings together nearly 4,500 people over two days around concerts, street art shows, and a popular, friendly spirit.
The Festival des Gueilles de Bonde
Since 2003, the Festival des Gueilles de Bonde has taken over the city center of Macau (33460) on the first weekend of September. Entirely free, it combines concerts (French variety, world music, pop/rock), street arts, a producers' and artisans' market, catering, and a closing fireworks display.
The program alternates between French songs on Friday evening, family entertainment and shows on Saturday afternoon, and world music on Saturday evening. Organized by the Festival Les Gueilles de Bonde association, the event cultivates proximity, simplicity, and sharing.
Gueilles de Bonde — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Festival des Gueilles de Bonde will be held on September 4th and 5th, 2026 in the city center of Macau (Gironde), true to its tradition of the first weekend of September. Two days of free concerts and street arts, in a popular and friendly atmosphere.
Festival des Gueilles de Bonde 2026
The Festival des Gueilles de Bonde returns to Macau on Friday, September 4th and Saturday, September 5th, 2026. A free and family-friendly event, it enlivens the city center with concerts (French variety, world music, pop/rock), street art shows, a market for producers and artisans, on-site catering, and a closing fireworks display.
The detailed 2026 program will be published by the organizing association. Two first artists have already been announced for this edition (Les Humeurs Cérébrales on September 4th, Obsydían on September 5th).
