About Médoc Art Festival
Every September, the Festival d'Art en Médoc brings together theater, street performances, concerts, exhibitions, workshops, and a parade within the gardens and halls of the Romanesque Abbey of Vertheuil. Managed by the Communauté de communes Médoc Cœur de Presqu'île since 2021, the festival kicks off the "Presqu'île de Culture" season, drawing around forty artists and between seven hundred and a thousand visitors each year. Admission is free with no booking required, offering a day filled with live performances, tours of the abbey's heritage, and family-friendly activities.

The sixth edition of the Festival d'Art en Médoc takes place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 1:30 PM to 11:00 PM, within the gardens and halls of the Abbaye de Vertheuil. The day is packed with theater, street performances, concerts, exhibitions, workshops, and a parade, alongside tours of the abbey's heritage and activities for the whole family.
