About Festival des Sables
The Festival des Sables is an open-air French song festival held annually on the esplanade of the Prieuré Saint-Nicolas, facing the Atlantic Ocean, in Les Sables-d'Olonne (Vendée). Created in 2025, it offers three evenings of acoustic or re-arranged concerts in an exceptional historical setting, with a reduced capacity of approximately 1,500 seats per evening to guarantee a rare proximity between artists and the audience.
A Jewel Box Facing the Ocean
Located on the esplanade of the Prieuré Saint-Nicolas, the Festival des Sables enjoys a unique panorama of the bay of Les Sables-d'Olonne. Each evening takes place outdoors, in the ocean breeze, with the sound of waves as a backdrop.
French Song and Discoveries
The festival celebrates French song in all its forms: variety, pop, acoustic. Each evening combines a renowned headliner with one or two developing artists, offering a balance between established acts and discoveries.
Intimate Format
With a capacity limited to 1,500 spectators per evening and a seated arrangement (stalls and stands), the Festival des Sables prioritizes comfort and proximity. The first edition in 2025 welcomed nearly 5,000 spectators over three evenings.
Festival des Sables — edition 2026
Second edition of the Festival des Sables from June 25 to 27, 2026, on the esplanade of Prieuré Saint-Nicolas in Les Sables-d'Olonne. Three evenings of French chanson facing the ocean with Patrick Fiori, Marine, Laurent Voulzy, Boulevard des Airs, Charles Doré, and exciting new discoveries. New: a 3-evening pass is offered to enjoy the entire program.
2026 Edition — Three Evenings Facing the Atlantic
Building on the success of its first edition, which gathered nearly 5,000 spectators in 2025, the Festival des Sables returns for three new evenings on the esplanade of Prieuré Saint-Nicolas. The program features headliners of French chanson (Patrick Fiori, Marine, Laurent Voulzy) accompanied by opening acts (ON IRA tribute Goldman, Boulevard des Airs, Léon Hesby, Charles Doré, Isaure Le Faou).
New for 2026
A major new feature for this second edition: the sale of a 3-evening pass allowing access to the entire festival. Concerts begin each evening at 7:30 PM.

- 9:00 PM (approx.) — Patrick Fiori · An artist with a powerful voice and intense emotions, he performs his essential hits and new tracks before his Zéniths tour scheduled for March 2027.

- 7:30 PM — Léon Hesby · A rising pop artist.
- 8:30 PM (approx.) — Boulevard des Airs · A French pop-rock duo, blending festive energy and unifying melodies.
- 10:00 PM (approx.) — Marine · Winner of the latest season of Star Academy, she captivates with her enchanting melodies, sensitive lyrics, and luminous energy. Her song « Ma Faute » has won over a wide audience.

- 7:30 PM — Isaure Le Faou · A young artist from the French scene.
- 8:30 PM (approx.) — Charles Doré · French pop singer-songwriter.
- 10:00 PM (approx.) — Laurent Voulzy · A virtuoso of harmonies and creator of poetic universes, he offers a suspended concert, filled with emotion and sweetness.
