Since 2000, the Festival du Bout du Monde has established itself as one of the unmissable world music events in France. Located on the Landaoudec meadow, on the Crozon peninsula, this festival offers an exceptional natural setting between land and sea, at the tip of Finistère.
Each edition offers an eclectic and mixed program, bringing together artists from all continents: African, Latin American, Oriental, Celtic music, rock, French chanson, and many other genres. The festival showcases discoveries and musical encounters, while also welcoming internationally renowned headliners. This artistic diversity reflects the spirit of openness and curiosity that has driven the festival since its creation.
The Landaoudec meadow offers a green setting overlooking the Brest roadstead, with a view of the sea. This exceptional natural setting contributes to the warm and friendly atmosphere that has made Bout du Monde famous. The site hosts several stages, catering areas offering cuisine from around the world, a campsite, and numerous activities.
Organized by the agency Quai Ouest Musiques, the festival relies on a network of 80 local associations and around 1,700 volunteers, managed by an organizing team of 120 members. This strong local anchoring makes Bout du Monde a unifying event for the Crozon peninsula and Finistère, contributing to the cultural and economic dynamism of the territory.
Beyond music, the Festival du Bout du Monde champions values of openness, tolerance, and respect for cultural diversity. Meeting spaces, exhibitions, and activities are offered to raise public awareness of the issues of living together and international solidarity.
