Pluridisciplinary and open-air summer festival in Saint-Brieuc
Les Nocturnes de Saint-Brieuc is a free, multidisciplinary summer festival that enlivens the historic heart of the city every Thursday and Friday in July and August. At the foot of the cathedral, street performances, concerts, theater, and cinema-concerts follow one another in a friendly open-air atmosphere, for all audiences.
Les Nocturnes in Saint-Brieuc is a summer event that enlivens the historic center of the city every Thursday and Friday from July to the end of August. At the foot of the Saint-Étienne Cathedral, street arts shows, concerts, and performances take over the streets and squares of the old district.
The program combines contemporary music, world music, street theater, street circus, cinema-concerts, and family entertainment. Thursdays are organized by Saint-Brieuc Animations, while Fridays are programmed by the City of Saint-Brieuc. All shows are free.
Recognized artists share the bill with emerging talents and street companies. The City of Saint-Brieuc has also developed an original program around cinema-concerts, offering open-air screenings accompanied by live musicians.
Les Nocturnes is a unifying event that brings together residents and visitors around culture and performing arts, in the exceptional setting of the medieval center of Saint-Brieuc.
