Laughter at the heart of the Champagne vineyards

Created in 2013 by the association Les Dingos du Rire, the Festival du Rire en Champagne aims to spread the laughter virus to as many people as possible. Located in the heart of the Champagne vineyards, between Bisseuil, Aÿ-Champagne, and Champillon, this multi-site festival offers a unique setting to discover seasoned comedians and emerging talents.

A friendly multi-day format

The festival unfolds over several days, taking over the party halls of the participating towns as well as a tent specially set up for the occasion. A dozen artists—comedians, singers, magicians—take turns on stage to offer varied shows mixing stand-up, sketches, one-man-shows, and musical performances.

Ten years of laughter in Champagne

The association Les Dingos du Rire celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2023 with a special event over four evenings in April. Since its creation, the festival has continued to grow, welcoming increasingly recognized artists while maintaining its family-friendly and accessible spirit. The festival has had various formats, shifting from summer to autumn depending on the editions.

Bisseuil and the Champagne vineyards

Bisseuil is a former commune attached to Aÿ-Champagne, nestled in the Marne Valley in the heart of the Champagne vineyards. This prestigious wine-growing setting gives the festival a special atmosphere, where humor naturally blends with Champagne conviviality. Spectators can enjoy champagne tastings between shows.

An eclectic program

Over the years, the Festival du Rire en Champagne has hosted artists with diverse styles: from incisive stand-up to family shows, including celebrity parodies and one-woman-shows. Each edition offers surprises and discoveries in a warm atmosphere typical of Champagne.
